Andreas Christensen out for around two months after hamstring problem. Radio Marca’s Alex Pintanel report on Friday that Barcelona have been dealt a blow with Andreas Christensen set to be out for around two months with a hamstring problem.

Christensen is reporte sideline due to a physical issue. Although it has not been confirm what the injury is, but it is believe to be relate to a hamstring problem that has previously plagued the 29-year-old. 

The club has now revealed the nature of Christensen’s injury. As per an official report, the 28-year-old is suffering with tendinopathy in his left achilles. They state that his return will be determine by how he recovers. But the expectation is that he will not return before the end of October.

On the other hand, Azulgrana coach Hansi Flick confirmed Christensen’s injury, saying: ‘At the moment he cannot help the team. Last year he played a lot of games without any problems and we have to take care of him.’
