Italian media reports say Juventus are looking at Rennes striker Arnaud Kalimuendo as an alternative in attack.

Dušan Vlahovic’s future has been the subject of constant speculation, with Juve now in talks over a new contract, but Italian media outlets have suggested that if talks do not progress, there is a chance Juve could offload the Serbian striker.

Juventus were reportedly monitoring the 22-year-old’s situation throughout the summer but the player changed his mind about staying at Rennes, meaning the move was shelve.

The French forward is currently contract to Rennes until mid-2027 and has made six appearances in Ligue 1, scoring three goals.

The Italian media concluded that Juventus are ready to closely monitor the situation with Kalimuendo and if they have to part ways with Vlahovic, there is a chance that they could approach the French striker full-time.

The French striker’s short career has already been mark by considerable consistency for goals, as further evidenced by three goals in his first six Ligue 1 appearances this season.
